Hope in Unprecedented Times

Hi. We are living in the middle of an unprecedented time in history and our entire way of living has been readjusted in the last 3 weeks. And the adjustments have continued on all levels of our lives. As part of that
adjusting, we wanted to reach out and let you know that we have made the decision to transition to a video or telephone counseling option effective Monday March 23rd, 2020. It is a hard decision to make but
we feel it is the very safest decision for you and for us at this time. We are on this journey together, and we will continue; it is just going to be in a different format for a season.

Appointment times will stay as scheduled. Some things to be aware of for billing and payment. Moving forward, the preferred method of payment will be payment by credit card. If this is what you currently do
then there will be no changes to the protocol. We will be checking to make sure that the credit card we have on file is current and the one you still want to use and we will proceed from there. If your circumstances are such that this is not possible, please know we will work with you and make arrangements for you to pay in an
alternative way. Because this will be new for all of us, we want you to give you knowledge so you can be prepared and ready for any and all changes and adjustments that affect you. You will still get a regular text
message and/or voicemail reminder of your appointment 24 hours in advance. We will be calling on Monday to confirm and arrange payment for your session for the week.

My prayer for you…..

These times we are living in are complicated and the navigation of all the new work and home and school scenarios is daunting and confusing and discouraging.  Yet, even in the middle of all of it, God is everpresent with us. He is not taken aback back all the changes we are facing.  As a matter of fact, I have shared with several of you that this whole experience has taught me some powerful lessons about God, myself, and the fact that I do not enjoy being ‘told’ what to do, where to go, where not to go.  Once I understood that about my internal battle, I was able to talk to God about it, release my grip on all the things I was still trying to control, and just trust. Trust  that when I cannot know, understand or trust the happenings of this world, I can trust the heart of God, always.  Trusting Him now as we walk into unknown territory on our journey to hope. Because, as long as we have God, we have hope.  Remember that. Praying for you, Susie

Happy New Year 2020

Happy New Year! If you have visited our site or called us recently, please know that we have been out on Christmas/New Year Break. If you have visited our website recently, or you find your self visiting right now, here is some news for you. Our offices reopen on Monday January 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. and will have regular counseling hours hereforward. If you have called during the break and left a message, we have tried to return each and every call and either speak with you directly, or we left a voicemail. We are also planning to call each of you back on Monday as well to follow up with your concerns, and to get some of you started with us at Journey to Hope.

Our website has some very helpful information about how to get started with us. Take a look at the New Client Tab for more information on getting started. We will also be starting our Anger Management Course again on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 6 p.m. as well as our GRACE group for girls on Thursdays. Please go to the tab on Groups and you will find information on both of these January groups.

January is always that month in our lives where we get a new start, a new beginning, a brand new year. Our prayer for you is that you will have hope for all the tomorrows of 2020, and it would be an honor for us to journey with you along the way to hope this year. Look to hear from us on Monday, or call us at 540-479-1661. Blessings, Susie
